On Sept. 8, 2022 Briston Maroney, an American indie rock singer who transcends genres, performed at a sold out Georgia Theatre. In attendance was Alexandra King, a third year public relations major, with her two close friends, Lilly Meeker and Maddy Sparks.

Swake wins UGA's Collegiate Great Brands Competition

SWAKE, a former University of Georgia student-run company selling sweat proof makeup, won the UGA Entrepreneurship program’s Collegiate Great Brands Competition. The winners earned a $25,000 prize for their entrepreneurial endeavors.

All these words are found in The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows and have been created to describe an inner emotion that humans find hard to describe, but feel intensely.

Conversations Within Me

Inside each person there is a universe. The universe is filled with colorful twists and turns that create a complex labyrinth. This universe has no end or no beginning. It is described as a miracle because others cannot define it. Even the person in possession of their universe has trouble translating the messages it sends. They cannot contain it to a definite fact.
