I am third year student at the University of Georgia studying Journalism and Political Science. I am also completing a minor in Public Administration and Policy and a News Literacy Certificate. My time at UGA is spent with a few organizations that foster my interpersonal skills and interests, including UGA India Night, Women's Studies Student Organization and University Union. It is at Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication where you can find me advising Reporting I students as a Peer Beat Mentor or writing for the Journalism Writing Lab.
I am passionate about the conjunction of law and mass communication. Interested in pursuing a J.D., I plan to attend law school after UGA and practice communication and media law. From studying travel writing in Copenhagen, Denmark to working directly under the law at De la Cruz Law, LLC, I have broadened my understanding of the legal and media industries. Throughout and after my career as an attorney, I aspire to work a freelance travel journalist to carry-on my interest in writing.
